In years past it has been a dreary winter day's need for a tropical moment that brought us to visit Brookside's conservatory to find bright patches
of flowering plants underneath the large palms, ferns and banana trees.
This year during the summertime we headed to Brookside Gardens to enter the fairy-land like world of butterflies. Even before we entered the indoor
Wings of Fancy (live butterfly) exhibit we found numerous butterflies outside enjoying the flowers lining the pathway.
When composing this webpage I found I had so much information to share that I decided to divide our photos and comments into several webpages which
you can access below. Plus another
webpage will be created this winter when we return to Brookside Gardens for their winter evening's Garden of Lights. This special exhibit is presented
on specific days (see their website) beginning in November when they illuminate their outdoor winter garden landscape, fountains,
and festive winter holiday displays.
